Qualified at St Bartholomews Hospital, London University, with postgraduate training based around Oxford, Dr Lee Burton has extensive medical experience over more than 20yrs in rural General Practice. During this he developed his Integrated Medical practice,combining the best of conventional and complementary approaches, specialising in Homeopathic medicine and Acupuncture, and working closely with other complementary therapists. He trained in classical Homeopathic medicine in Bristol, then Bologna, Italy. He was Homeopathic Physician at the Bristol Homeopathic Hospital in General and Paediatric medicine and specialist Cancer services, and at the Royal London Hospital for Integrated Medicine.
He specialises in medical care 'individualised to the patient' successful in many disabling long-term conditions such as allergy, bowel disorders, migraine, and fatigue states. With an interest in managing long-term pain such as back pain and arthritis successfully, his integrated approach can be an important support in all stages of Cancer care.
As Integrated Medical Director he established the innovative Natural Health Practice at the Culm Valley Integrated Centre for Health in Devon - a collaborative project with the NHS, opened in 2009 by the Prince of Wales. He has an active interest in research and ethics, and in helping patients develop their own 'self-help' strategies for healthier living. Dr Burton has wide experience with children and family medicine,and everyday mental health problems such as stress, anxiety, and depression.
Dr Lee Burton practiced in London at the Royal London Hospital for Integrated Medicine and LOC Leaders in Oncology Care, Harley St,using his integrated homeopathic expertise alongside the innovative approaches developed there in patients with long-term and serious illnesses, including cancer,and complications of cancer treatment.
